Hip Hop, R&B and Electronica Session Tips.
Know your equipment:
Bring manuals for all the gear you are using in the session to the studio.
Empower yourself with an understanding of
MIDI syncronization.
Put a one or two measure count off at the beginning of every song.
You must know how to seperate out each sound to its own output. (see

You must know how to turn on or off effects such as reverb and delay. Often all effects will be off during
dumping.
Don't expect to get a "PRO" sound if you are bringing your beats to the studio on an audio CD.
