Choosing a Studio

- Ask around to find out what engineers or studios in your area are turning out the best work.
- Call the studio and get aquainted. Set up a time to meet the people and see the studio.
- Get some examples of their production. A studio demo CD or CD's that are already released.
- If you like them and like their production then call and set up your studio time.
- Find out how the studio deals with payment. Many studios require half down and half upon completion. You might not get your master until you are paid up.
- Ask about the studios cancellation policy. You might forfeit your down money if you cancel.
